Jesse Van Der Sluis, MSN, RN

Jesse Van Der Sluis brings more than a decade of acute care nursing and leadership experience in high-acuity hospital settings. He has a strong track record of leading large clinical teams, improving patient outcomes, and driving operational performance across critical care and medical-surgical environments.

Prior to his current role, Jesse served as Acute Care Director, at a short-term acute care in Louisville, Kentucky, where he oversaw more than 330 team members across critical care and intermediate care units. He led initiatives that reduced length of stay, decreased hospital-acquired pressure injuries by 37%, and reduced patient falls by 48% in pilot units.

Jesse holds a Master of Science in Leadership and Management and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Western Governors University. He is a Registered Nurse and maintains certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS).
